Cognigen Networks completes the acquisition of Commission River, Inc.

posted January 22nd, 2008 posted posted by John Dilbeck

I haven’t been actively marketing Cognigen and it’s products for some time.

When the founder of Cognigen Networks, Kevin Anderson, died last year, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen to Cognigen, so I pulled in my advertising to see what would happen.

In December, things began to happen that began to eliminate my doubts, but they haven’t coalesced enough to be really confident in restarting my marketing efforts.

Late in 2007, Cognigen Networks completed the acquisition of Commission River, Inc. and began to announce the changes in their affiliate/agent program.

Commission River will take over management of Cognigen and the compensation plan will undergo some big changes.

So, for now, I’m only going to start promoting Commission River products, even though I still have hundreds of links to Cognigen products and services.

Until further notice, I urge you not to join as a Cognigen agent. That may or may not change in the future.

In the meantime, if you want to promote top-quality telecommunications products and services, you are welcome to become an affiliate through Commission River. Unlike some of the other telecom marketing companies, there is no charge to become an agent with Commission River.

Hopefully, the uncertainty will continue to fade as new plans are announced.

One of the exciting products offered by Commission River is 1-800-FREE-411. Why pay when you are asking directory assistance for a phone number? Just call 1-800-FREE-411.

If you own or manage a business in a highly-competitive niche you may want to look into the low cost of intercept advertising. It can be an effective way to get new customers when they are in the mood to purchase.

Act on your dream!

posted October 1st, 2007 posted posted by John Dilbeck

Use It Before You Lose It

Protect your valuables (and your identity) with Worldwide Lost & Found Return Stickers.

Give lost gadgets a greater chance of returning to you–without losing your privacy!

Register each stick-on tag’s unique ID number with the online database and affix the small tags to your cell phone, laptop, MP3 player, digital camera, car keys, and other easily-carried items. That’s all you have to do.

When someone finds your lost item, they can use the ID number to send you a message that they found it (forwarded to your email via the database) without ever knowing your personal information. The exchange is swift, secure and completely anonymous.

Several kits are available. The family kit includes 6 self-adhesive labels, 1 key tag and a free lifetime membership in the worldwide return system database.

Product Features

  • Simple stick-on tags help keep your high-tech tools (and the data they contain) from being lost forever
  • Make it easy for finders to do the right thing–without ever knowing your personal information
  • Secure website keeps losers and finders anonymous; complete privacy is maintained
  • Ideal protection for laptops, suitcases, cameras, cell phones, PDAs–any items that can get lost during travel

zReturn provides a low-cost way for someone to do the right thing and return your valuable items if they find them somewhere.

Kevin Anderson has passed on

posted August 15th, 2007 posted posted by John Dilbeck

I won’t try to tell you about Kevin Anderson. Others knew him better and will tell the story with more knowledge and feeling than I can.

Kevin was a true online marketing pioneer and the founder of Cognigen Networks.

Jack Spirko wrote about the loss of Kevin Anderson on his blog, and some of the top Cognigen agents are expressing their feelings about Kevin and all he did for us.

If you do anything related to online marketing, you should read Jack’s article. If your company offers replicated websites for affiliates, you should read the article.

Kevin, you will be missed by lots and lots of good people.

Don’t wait to act on your dream!
